It had been a long day for Joni. After hours of practice on the court, she couldn't wait to get home and relax. She took a few pictures with fans, stepped into the car with her trainer, Mrs. Wiggins and splayed across her seat. 'Wow, I thought that day would never end,' Joni said.

Rolling her eyes, Joni said, 'Yes, I know, Mrs. Wiggins. Practice, practice, practice.'






'That's right. Where are you ranked among the female tennis players in the world, my dear?'






'Second,' Joni groaned.






'And how will you get to number one?'






'Practice, practice, practice.'






Mrs. Wiggins smiled. Joni did too, but only one of their smiles was sincere. It was times likes these that she regretted choosing the life of a tennis pro.
