Proceedings of 2019 International Conference on Optoelectronics and Measurement

This book presents high-quality papers from the 2019 International Conference on Optoelectronics and Measurement (ICOM2019) which was held on November 28-30, 2019, in Hangzhou, China. It focuses on the latest developments in the fields of optics, photonics, optoelectronics, sensors, and related measurement technology. Being closely related to either the key device technology or the important commercial applications, topics of fiber optics, photodetectors, sensors, and measurement technology are of particular interest for the readers. The book contains the illustrations of advanced device technologies, measurement principles, as well as scientific and technological conclusions of the great reference value. The readers will gain deep insight into the latest development in the related fields, obtain important technical data and scientific conclusions, and inspire new ideas for their research.

Prof. Yingquan Peng, 'Qian Jiang Scholar,' is Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang province, China Jiliang University.

He earned a B.S. in physics from Lanzhou University (China) in 1985. In the year 1986, he passes the selection examination organized by Ministry of Education of China, and was selected to study master and Ph.D. degree in Berlin Germany. He earned a Diplom Ingineer in electric & electronics, and a Ph.D. in experimental physics from Humboldt University Berlin (Germany) in 1992.
From September 1992 to August 2015, he was on the School of Physical Science and Technology, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China. He commenced appointments as Vice Professor, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Leader of the discipline of microelectronics and solid-state electronics, successively. He worked on optical pumped thin film organic lasers as a Visiting Scholar in Prof. Salbeck group, University Kassel, Germany. In 2015, he commenced his present appointment as Professor and Leader of the discipline of microelectronics and solid-state electronics in the College of Optics and Electronic Technology, China Jiliang University, Hangzhou, China.

In the year 2004, he won the Award of Science Advancement among Universities in Gansu Province, China, sponsored by Ministry of Education, Gansu Province, for research in 'OLED Physics and materials.'. In the year 2011, he won the honorary of 'Scientific and Technological Leading Talents in Gansu Province.'

His research interests are focused on technologies of advanced photodetectors and light-emitting devices, physics and simulation of organic semiconductor devices, as well as advanced automatic measurement technic. He has published 2 books as the first Editor titled 'Experiments in modern physics (Publishing House of Lanzhou University),', and 'Proceedings of 2018 International Conference on Optoelectronics and Measurement (Springer Singapore, Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering 567, Series ID 7818 ISBN: 978-981-13-8594-0, Book ID 477578_1_En).'. He has published more than 100 papers on reputational journals like Applied Physics Letters, Advanced Optical Materials, Carbon, IEEE, Photonic Technology Letters, Nanoscale, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and npj Flexible Electronics.

Prof. Xinyong Dong was born in Shandong, China, in 1975. He received Ph.D. degrees in Optics from Nankai University, China, in 2002. He worked as Research Assistant in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) for one year from May 2001 and became Research Fellow in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2002. He moved back to HKPU as Postdoctoral Fellow in 2006 and has been worked in China Jiliang University as Full Professor since 2008. He is a senior member of IEEE and OSA, a member of IMEKO-TC2, and Editor of Photonics Sensors and Journal of Sensors. He is General Chair of 2018 Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP), and TPC Chair of 2016 & 2017 International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN). His research interest covers fiber-optic sensors and fiber lasers. To date, he has published 3 book chapters and more than 400 technical papers. He was awarded the Qianjiang Professorship of Zhejiang Province China in 2009, Young Scientist Award of the International Union of Radio Science in 2005, Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Singapore Millennium Foundation in 2004, Postdoctoral Fellowship from HKPU in 2006, and Wang Daheng's Optical Prize from the Chinese Optical Society in 2001.
